Chilapata Eco Hut is a small homestay, and this policy is written like one — plainly. We collect as little as possible: your name, phone number, dates and preferences when you enquire or book, usually via WhatsApp or a phone call.

What we do with your details

We use your contact details to confirm bookings, arrange safaris and pickups, and reply to questions. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone except the service providers directly serving your stay (for example, the safari permit office requires traveller names and ID numbers by law).

This website

This site is static — it does not run a database and does not store your form inputs. The enquiry form opens WhatsApp with your message; nothing is transmitted to this website’s servers. We do not run advertising trackers. If we add analytics later, it will be privacy-respecting and this page will say so.

ID documents

Forest safari permits require original photo ID to be shown and, per current rules, traveller details to be submitted to the forest department. We handle these details only for your booking and do not keep copies beyond what regulations require.
